MagiQ Technologies attended “Mastering the Subsurface Through Technology Innovation” hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) in Pittsburgh.
The event brought together researchers, industry leaders, and government stakeholders to discuss advances in subsurface characterization and monitoring technologies. MagiQ presented its work on next-generation fiber optic seismic sensing systems designed for extreme downhole environments.
MagiQ’s presentation highlighted the advantages of passive optical sensing technology for long-term reservoir monitoring, including the ability to operate at temperatures and pressures that exceed the limits of conventional electronic sensors.
